Whoa, those are frikkin' slick, mate! I'm curious what program you prefer to use for making your graphics. Can't wait to see your character sprites![/QUOTE]

@RandomFellow

its made in photoshop im making some example tiles and shades that i use with the pattern tool (and a few other things)

then a lot of copy paste etc

its time consuming.

anyways the above images does not represent the final game look they are just mockups for ideas and theme

now about animations i will probably need help cause im really bad at itFidasx2013-12-31 13:18:06

As my bf is a descendant of the Grimm family - time to time i'm working on a dark themed red ridinghood platformer in style of limbo. I want to try get a few voice overs into the game, depending on how many soundfiles a browser can handle.

Hi, I'm quite new to game dev scene (almost 2 month), and this is my first time attempting it, as a hobby, hopefully with revenue lol...

Well these are snapshots of my very first game dev project which I decided to abandon 5 days ago... due to frame rate issues... It is a shoot'em up platformer.

Lessons learned the hard way : Keep everything simple. Not too big, not too small, not too many, be moderate.

Currently working on the same project but totally revamped arts and sprites.

Some great stuff on here people, keep it up!

Another quick screenshot of my current game, added some more "dungeon like" looking walls and a boarder...all W.I.P probably to be redone...

As long as I can move left, right and fire, I'm Happy...
