Hi, could you give cap file for this? Or just tell me how did you do the movement? I don't know how to make character jump in movement like that.

I am using three movement behaviors Platformer, 8 direction, RTS.
The player haves the platformer behavior it self just for the jumping part.
The ground shadow haves the 8 direction, RTS behaviors.
The 8 direction behavior controls the walk movement.
The RTS behavior is make the jump movement not the platformer behavior.
I would like to tell you how i did the movement but it is to complexes to write it all down.
so here a picture to help.


I will post a cap after i make some changes to my cap.
I was thinking of doing Beat'em Up tutorials like the platformer school.

I hope five screenshots is okay.

I've been working on a platformer, starring a raccoon.
I may call it "Rings' Adventure", or I might call it something else. I want to add more characters at some point, too.
I plan on giving it levels/areas sort of like Metroid, Legacy of the Wizard, and such games, where you can explore, and only get to some areas after collecting certain abilities.
I should build out my very few areas. :) They are rather empty, and it's all more like a feature test, so far.


One of my test areas.




A little wall climbing. And bomb throwing.


It's possible to stand on arrows. But it's also possible to climb up walls and along ceilings.


Arrows stick to the enemies they hit. However, they're always drawn at their center right now. It works well for these ships, though.
The ships are sort of based on the huuge swarms of police ships that appear in Elite II (Frontier) if you fire on non-hostile ships or space stations. Heh heh. Haphazardly flying around, bumping into things.

Well... don't know if someone remind me... some experiments with a wolf game and some "art things". Well, i usually check the forums, but don't wanted post anything cause for some reason can't keep 1 project for so much time, and i end with lot of experiments or half made games.
This are 2 projects i never posted, but want to share some screenshots.



Simple plat game about a mad king, more puzzle based than anything.




Wanted try something with blood... but end there... as a try, but as always, did all the sprites animations

I really need make a team that keep me on track or give me a hand...
Someday going to make some enterprise with a good producer that organize ... I'm a disaster, jajaja

Now i'm working on a jump n' run... its giving me lot of problems, cause i have in mind a fast dodge jump n' run, like a prince of persia but always running, with time limit cause you need deliver an item... need do like... well, all this animations.



Near to finish the run of 12 frames... but just the rough animation, still need do the pixel work.
Don't make me think on the backgrounds... character pixel art i do fine, but with backgrounds i cry.

my asteroids have the same problem with the videos, cant destroy need execute videos with a external aplication and close with a timer

only have 4 levels with complete music themes explosions and more, the finished game have 10 or 12 levels , and 1 classicc asteroid chossing ship the list of ships is the first image
