experimenting with trails and other ways to make hits feel awesome - still working on it.

Also tried to replicate the features window magic in "WINDOWFRAME by Managore in Construct 2, somehow it was a loooooooooooooot easier than expected. for messing with window sizes translated well into my camera system.

also learnt that I had to convert the camera position into an integer for it to work properly. the camera movement oddly enough still looked smooth.

I like this very much. I love the detail in the explosions and the smoothness of the animations. I have no idea how you got the CRT effect. Very cool!

Still more focused on the art assets for the game that the gameplay at the moment, but I recently added doors and proper configurable controls and gamepad support.

A quick prototype I made to test out some assets I've been making for a multiplayer isometric hacknslash.
The effects are done using this method.
'Good' gameplay is gameplay that gets the effect you want.
