I have a bullet behavior on the drill and anglelerp it in the direction the player is pressing when it's underground. Then when it emerges I just add gravity and take control away until it hits something and drill mode is cancelled.

@Joannesalfa Neat! I've never looked into altering tilemaps at runtime, is that controlled with an array?

@Ahr Yes, also it can play animated tiles in region area as visible window to mantain good performance, you can set selected tile to play animation in following tile number such as 3,4,5,7,9 and it can be looped. I'm planning to sell this tool in scirra store to produce advanced levels in minutes.

Oh I didn't see this coming, thank you!
If I don't manage to finish the game until the release of Mario I will never release mine because I'm to busy playing Mario :mrgreen:

Apart from that mine will be much cheaper ;)
