What do you guys think of my main character? Its a single frame from an animation for the main character of a platformer I'm making.

Great stuff people!

@TELLES0808 Thank you so much!

I'm currently working on implementing more stages, each one of them has different weapons to unlock. Also, my friend is working on the intro that will highlight the story behind the Kitten going to space. :D

@AceWay I love the look! And I'd love to hear that story haha!

Here's a look at my newest update to Escape Is Possible, the biggest new feature being the health system and blood 'splatter' on the screen. (Sorry for the GIF quality, had to optimize due to original file size and I didn't center the screencasting window)

@gillenew That's a really nice art style! Not entirely sure what you're showing off in the GIF though, what is that cursor supposed to represent?

Thank you AlceX, that cursor is when you're aiming to shoot fireballs, in that case I'm aiming just to make the character look down and to the sides xD
But that pyramid with eye is a mystery that you will discover in the game

@AceWay I'd suggest implementing "impaction" into your shooting - basically setting the timescale to 0.1 for 0.1 second (or longer for more powerful weapons) -> there are other way to "juice" up your game wrote a list of techniques over year ago that could prove useful to you http://salmanshh.tumblr.com/post/120565993432/wot-i-learned-ways-to-make-your-game-look-fun-and
