Think I'm slowly improving :) very slowly. Then I look at saint11's work and it still looks liked puked pixels.

I dig the art style.. think it's pretty cool actually.

Still kinda needs work and such, but tell me what you guys think :D

Very neat art style, which works rather nicely. Good stuff.

It's uh... turning out to be an elevator sort of thing. No worries, it doesn't bloom like that all the time, I just found that it was probably the most presentable moment to take a screenshot.

Not set to Japan. I haven't worked on all of the textures just yet.

Don't ask, I probably have no idea, it's not related to anything really, I just ended up working on it instead of going to the gym. 8D

Edit: got bored working on it at least for now, have this http://dl.dropbox.com/u/326175/skyelev1.exe

Here are some more preview screens of the game. These controls don't affect any cars yet, just still making the GUI with help from the custom UI tutorial.

[u:1ux9uijg]Driver Orders[/u:1ux9uijg]

Move the sliders left to right. All sliders work in the game. I left driver 1 settings at 50%.

[u:1ux9uijg]Car Setup[/u:1ux9uijg]

Different methods of visualizing how the changes are made to parts of the car. Real buttons will be used soon, instead of clicking on "-" and "+".The outlined over head image of the car shows all the marked areas as you change them.

Tyre name and image will change between Soft (dry) Hard (dry) intermediate (wet) etc
The number of gears (bars) will change between 4 and 7 by changing the size of a tile object.
