@Kyatric The backgrounds still needs a lot of work.The game is still in it's test phases at the moment.I will create a vid as soon as i have more going on within the game.

about to reach 8000 lines of c++ code on plugin portion of this baby and 425 events for the editor
almost done working on saving loading routines. the biggest obstacle left in the way of making a real tech demo vid. lucid2011-07-26 16:19:58

Figured I'd post some images of my game on this thread, just for the heck of it. Still very early, no HUD etc. The top pic uses more heavier effects, while the bottom is far clearer. It's a top down apocalypse survival sim with a black and white theme.

Hello everyone! I was thinking about posting when I was almost finished with my game, but I decided to post now since there is something to see.

Its called "Runhammaren" which is swedish and means.. well you could actually guess it yourselves. Its about a dwarf who is far away from home and about his great adventure above and below ground.

It looks nice already.
The main character seems maybe a bit little. I hope it will be nicely animated to compensate. ^^

A bit more details would come in handy indeed, but not that much.
Did you do the graphics or do you have someone else working with you at it ?

Thanks :) Im doing the graphics. The dwarf is a little bigger, you can see the full image by right-click then "view image" and zoom in. The game wont be that big though, this is just a photoshop image.

Yes youre right about the details. Im thinking about adding some more depth in the background and try to make a few parallax layers.
