This is cool :) reminds me a little of ToeJam & Earl from the Megadrive (Genesis for the U.S. peeps here)

Wow, thats very cool :) Very unique and odd gameplay mechanic - but works really well.

I noticed that when the character jumps, there is no rain beneath him... so the rain is some sort of particle effect?

Very clever. :)

I've just finished with this game for it.

Redesigned my character and built him in Toon Boom Animate Pro so I can take advantage of cut-out/bone style animation. Placed him in my last build to compare the new size of the main character (almost twice as big). Hoping to turn out assets quicker now.

@sman118 ahhh I thought I recognised your name. I remember this game from last year? Looking great! Any reason you chose Toon Boom over Spriter?

@Raicuparta Interesting! It took me the whole of the vid to realise you were dodging those things haha

Maybe make those things Cats and the player plays a mouse? Seems easier to recognise imo

At first glance I thought those things were mice and the player was a block of cheese ;p

@procrastinator Just more comfortable. Plus, I can "patch" joints to hide where the art is combined. I still plan on using Spriter at some point. But that will probably be for large Bosses and cut scenes.

@sman118 ahh ok interesting. I used to use Toon Boom many moons ago. Might check that out again, even though I own Spriter! Never got into Spriter all that much since I never did anything that required it, but some work is coming up and will probably require those kind of animations so.... ;p
