  • Hi, nice game. But how are you planning on incorporating rotation into this?

  • (finally i can signed in with my old friend N70)

smitchell Thanks for your reply. The clouds above the charater will be the second platform, there'll be portals to rotate ground/sky, and only things that on collisioned with the portal would be affected by the new gravity(this will open some puzzle ideas).

Still a long way to make it real.

  • Didn't the competition state rotation must be the main functionality of the game? Meaning the game has to revolve some way around rotation?

  • "Every game must make use of the system 'Rotate layer' or 'Rotate layout' actions. It must be an important feature of the gameplay and not just added on as an afterthought."

  • Well, i have to use rotate layout action to swap the sky into ground. And the player must rotate the layout to complete the game, so i think that's enough for the competition's rules.

  • Ok <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> Good luck! Nice game anyways <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Thanks very much, i'll work hard on it. <img src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
