Preview doesn't work when I add a browser object

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Wed Dec 28, 2011 2:26 am

I tried to post this as a bug, put the forum wouldn't allow me to. Perhaps it's not a bug at all. When I add a browser object to my project, the preview just shows up as a gray canvas. If I delete the browser object, the preview works fine. This happens whether I use the browser in and event or not. Anyone know what might be wrong?

I have the same problem on FF with Win7. Must be a conflict with one of the extension installed, because I don't have that problem on FF on the Mac...

I meant in Construc 2. In project properties you have an Enable WebGL property.
The browser object shouldn't have any issue with that since it's not drawn. But it won't hurt to try.
Also, if you are on chrome you can try F12 and push the Console button to see if there's any error message.

What browser are you using? And are there any browser errors when you preview and it's grey?

Hi,

Here's the errors I'm getting from the error console:

Are you on Firefox 3.6? We're aiming support for the latest Firefox (version 9 now), so upgrading should help.
