I noticed a reference to an online arcade on the blog page.
If you were to set the free version up so that users could only export games to that arcade... hmm, well that sounds kinda interesting.
That's almost like what Stencyl is doing.

I realize there are some who probably cannot work yet, but for real, if we can drop $50 for a new game, can't we drop a similar amount for C2?

As it's not too much, I'd buy. Maybe 60 is the maximum I'll go.

When it gets to CC's abilities, it'll definitely be worth paying $60 / ~£30 for.procrastinator2011-07-01 04:47:23

I from Brasil 1 Dollar = 2 Reais
120 Reais is a expensive price for here, but for construct can work. But something like 99,00 Reais can be real good to sell here.

Maybe people already using Classic get 2 at no cost?

But if versions commercial and free are going to have the same exact features, just differences in licensing, then I am in the clear right now.

It is not that I am against paying for anything, I just do not have available funds, nor am I going to sell anything I make.

Apart from the pricing, will there be more payment options other than Paypal? Because in many countries buying anything using Paypal account is prohibited.

Also, $60= INR 2650 ...meh, maybe I'll stick to Construct Classic.

@GSPforChrist:
The free version will contain most of the features but the updates to the free version will be delayed. Also maybe the free version will only export HTML5 games, not exe. (I'm not sure about this one)

Abhilash, thanks for pointing that out. What payment methods are accepted? Moneybookers? What do most people use?

@Tom: oops....sorry Tom, never saw your reply.

Well, to be honest I don't know much since I've never bought anything online, most of the games and software I buy are from retail(CD/DVD).
But still, if you have more options for people they'll be more willing to buy C2.
