Pro Tip: Organize your events

Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

Post » Mon Jan 02, 2012 6:53 am

Well i was working on my new game for a while and hit a bug yesterday where i couldn't reset my layout properly or other mysterious things happened...

The game had ALOT of events and cause i was testing new stuff all the time i didn't bother to organize it in groups and just added and added and added to eventview... HUGE mistake :D

Now i have to start (almost) from scratch cause i have no idea WTF is going on.

So... always organize your stuff... from the beginning ;D

I even use colour coded comments, so I know which parts of my engine are complete, still being worked on, early stages, or completely FUBAR. :D
