Problems with picking

In my game, "Psi," my zombies can be caught on fire with one of the attacks. It mostly works but I notice that the flames will sometimes jump from one zombie to another and zombies can't be lit when another one is burning. I want the flame to spawn on and stay on the same zombie and I want to be able to lite others when one is already burning. Please let me know if you have any ideas what I can do - here's the code:

Thanks!

Might want to rename those pics to something the browser can use.
Leave the spaces out, or use a "_" for burning pt 1.PNG

Wouldn't it be easier to pin the fire to the enemyboxes, instead of trying to set them ever tick?
that way you can avoid that picking issue..
I told my dentist I had trouble with my teeth and asked her to fix it without looking in my mouth..

@LittleStain - I've tried that. Unfortunately, with spriter objects, it doesn't seem like the pinning behavior works too well, at least that I've seen.
