Publishing to desktop

Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

Post » Tue Jun 09, 2015 7:54 pm

Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong section, I didn't really think it was 'how do i' topic.

I'm still pretty new to construct so forgive me if this is a duh question. I was interested in the windows 8 (10 soon) and mac desktop exports. I'm still using the free version so I can't test this for myself but when you export to either will it become a exe file or just a html link to open? Exp... say I make my game downloadable online. When the person downloads will it be an application or just something that opens in a browser? Does anyone have an example I cld see? Thanks everyone.
