Purgatory - Horror Adventure Game

Hi there!

Well, i've been lurking on these Forums for quite some Time now, asking all sorts of silly questions but right now i'm working on my first full game called "Purgatory". It's going to be an Adventure Game with some minor combat situations.

You play as Alex, our heroine. After a wild night out partying you and your boyfriend Dennis as well as your friends Cyntha and Marc get in a car accident. When you wake up, your friends have vanished and you set out to find them, which leads you deeper into the nightly forest. As the night goes on, you not only will have to uncover the mysteries that led to your friends disappearance but also discover, that Alex herself has a dark secret as well...

Just for Fun: A Poster i once did. The Character Designs differ dramatically from this initial try and i'll have to eventually redo it.

She can run and punch now Making quite some progress. From Friday on i've got two weeks off from work and will hopefully get as much done on the project as possible. (sorry for the weird colors, my Screengrab/Gif converter somehow screws them up a little).

After a little bit of a hiatus i picked the game up again and am working slavishly on new backgrounds Here's the latest one (the inside of an abandoned cabin).

I pixelled the main cast of characters Alex and her three friends, that are gone missing.

I love that lighting! The game looks smooth.

Reminds me a lot of the ol good Sierra graphic adventures. But it's also has a very "slasher film" taste that's rarely seen in other games and makes it very original. Looking forward for more!
