Q3D New Tutorial and Inline 3D Demo

Discussion of tools and resources for game developers

Hey Construct 2ers,

I recently have been working some more on 3dswing.com and tutorials and I added some info on basics.

If you've ever taken any higher level math classes, you should be familiar with the fact that the Z dimension is the name for the 3rd dimension in standard 3D Coordinate systems.

For beginners the Z-Coordinate System actually goes in the opposite direction from what you would assume.

Positive goes "down" (into the screen).
Negative goes "up" towards the screen.

I made a video and .capx to try to demonstrate this.

I also put in some inline 3D demos which I think are pretty cool that I definitely want to show off XD. Image

I think the next tutorial I want to work on is a video tutorial for morph animations. I've seen a lot of work from others on the topic written, and that's going to be very helpful for getting a good set of instructions together.
Check out http://3dswing.com/ for games (in the works) and tutorials on Q3D plugin for construct 2.

@bhain7,

Thanks for the tutorials! It appears that 3dswing.com is down.
