it's released with source code, I wonder is possible to adapt this effect into C2?

wow jaw dropps....
googles definition of awesome to see if its good enough a word as a adjective for this thing

thats simply incredible....amazing .....
been looking at that on my page for about 20 min now
awesome stuff...so complex...
high definition is crazy good
BUMP THIS THREAD

of course it would/should be possible

but yeah complex stuff

look at the source code
https://github.com/haxiomic/GPU-Fluid-Experiments
and see whats there if its adaptable to C2
im sure someone who knew how would probably take a crack at it sooner or later

as for me...well beyond my pay grade :P

definitely possible, although the caveats to get it to interact with constructs collision system would probably limit the usability. It's one thing to have a nice tech demo without much interaction, and another to have it usable in a game. I might take a look at trying to implement it eventually though, it seems like an interesting challenge.

Since it's pushing stuff onto the gpu and construct doesn't facilitate very low level access to the context i'd probably do it similar to Q3D on an external canvas.

I have no words. What you have made is one of the most, if not the most beautiful program I've ever seen, ever.

I can't see it. Not sure why chrome isn't showing anything except a black screen and the adjustment options. I wonder if this has anything to do with why some capx from others don't work as expected on my pc either.

You have to click on the screen - this isn't obvious at first.

@Jermfire
It could be the browser you use doesn't support webgl
look here:
http://get.webgl.org/
For me on Firefox 30 I see:
Your browser supports WebGL

And the fluid example works.

But on internet explorer 11 I see.
Your browser supports WebGL

However, it indicates that support is experimental; Not all WebGL functionality may be supported, and content may not run as expected.

And the fluid example doesn't work.

My chrome supports it. cube and all. Running a core 2 extreme 3.0, quadro 560, 4gb of ram, win7 x64.
