Question (never used C2 yet)

Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

Post » Mon Sep 05, 2011 4:57 pm

I was thinking of trying out C2, and an idea I had for a game was sort of a beat'em up. Would something like that be possible on Construct2 or is it mainly for side scrolling shooters and platformers and such? Thanks.

A beat-em-up is certainly possible, though it's a bit problematic in C2's current state. It really depends on the complexity of your game.

Construct can generally make any kind of 2D game, but as gammabeam says we're still working on some features. You can get quite far though, try the space blaster demo on the site!

Ah I see. Might as well try out the software demo and check out the current features, thanks!

Hello! I'm new here, and I need some help with Construct 2.
The problem is that I don't know how to get the Sprite pack, music or sounds from the free version.
Please tell me if I'm in the wrong topic.

Hi Rec! Sorry it's not very clear, the free bundle can be downloaded if you:

- Click store at the top of this site
- Click on 'Free bundle download' on the sub menu
