Question regarding player spawning areas

Get help using Construct 2

Hi all, I have a problem.

When my player enters a space station in the far left corner of my game and exits, he spawns back at the start area at the middle of the screen.

Anyone know how to get him to spawn just outside the station? Probably a noob question but I'm stumped

@ReanimtedNerd Please show a screenshot of the layout/event sheet or link to .capx file as I can't imagine what you mean.

You were setting the player location in the wrong layout. I see what you were trying to do but that kind of prediction won't work, you need to set the location on the event sheet of the first layout. I used a global variable to check when the player is exiting the space station and, if they are, it will set the player location to the right side of the station object. Glad I could help!
