Quick Filter question

For questions about using Classic.

Whats is less hard on the frame rate? Sprites with color filter changed, or entirely different Sprites?
For example, A platform that is normally white but filtered to look red instead of another platform sprite. My guess is Filter is easier on the framerate.

I don't think color filters effect performance, and since different sprites would take up more VRAM, it would definitely be more efficient to use filters.

Go for filters. If I remember right, changing the filter has zero impact on performance. So making new sprites would waste VRAM.

Filters. More sprites means more texture changes when rendering

Use white-ish colors for your sprite, then you will get desired colors with color filter. Pre-colored sprites and color filter mix colors and you could get strange results. ;)
