Hello!
I have quite a few questions that I need help on. All help is appreciated even if it doesn't work. If I ever publish my game you guys will go into my credits under special thanks.

1st. My HUD is ok, but I need it to have a bar to show how much health is left instead of numbers. How would I do this? [FIXED]

2nd. This one is quite an important one: How do I create a pause screen that freezes all action but can resume when need be with everything still in place. [ANSWERED]

3rd. My enemies follow my character but if he is moving around they go to the old spot then recalculate and go to the next spot with the player. How would I make them able to recalculate on the go? [FIXED]

4th. I need some art sources but don't know any. What would be the best for a top-down zombie shooter?

Thanks for all help.ninonic992013-02-20 00:36:53

I want the enemies to move towards the player. My setup instead has the monsters goto Player.X and Player.Y at the time that the enemy calculates the path. If the player moves before the path the enemy creates is finished, the enemy will continue to go to the old spot.

Thanks for the links though!ninonic992013-02-18 12:52:21

Your enemies calculating the path until some distance between player and them is reached - right? Did you tried to add another action?
For example:
distance (player.x, player.y, enemy.x, enemy.y) less or equal 200
set enemy "Follow" to 1
Enemy "Follow" equal to 1 - calculating path

If you give a link to your example with this problem it would be easier to help
