R100 Exe Problems

  • Hi there,

First i will say thanks again for the integration of the EXE-Exporter.

It is a must have for me - and i hope the little known Bugs can Fix in the next Time.

The first Thing is the Framerate in a Fullscreen *.Exe. It slows down to

almost 30-35 FPS. I think 60 FPS will bring much more Fun - hope that can be fixed.

The next thing is - how i can exit from a Fullscreen exported *.exe?

In this time - i must kill the windows process...

Hope Ashley or Tom can Help...

    Thanks!!!

    no start to run.

    System:

    Windows 7 home premium 64bit

    laptop

    Intel Core Duo 2 T5750 2Ghz

    4GB RAM

    Ati mobile radeon 3400 256MB

all the software and the harware drivers are updated

Do you can post a *.capx?

I can test it out for you

  • Felix i've tried the "Rain Demo" exported with Awesomium on my gf's pc and i got the same problem. She's got a 64-Bit system so i think thats the problem. It's running fine on my 32-bit Windows 7 Ultimate.

  • I utilize a 64 bit system and do not have any issues with the Rain Demo.

    Windows 7 Enterprise (64) , and Windows 7 Home Premium (64).

I thought this may be a graphics card issue, but I use Nvidia and ATI and no issues. Is there a chance it could be individual display driver?

    Enterprise - ATI 5700

Home Premium system uses Nvidia GTX295

That make me think (normally I are thinking)

I then use the dependency dll software (the best tool around "dependency walker")

this determine the system not found "awesomium.dll"

then I copy that file in the windows\system32 and then

already fixed is run now (not forgot execute like administrator)

Appear The 64 bit version not search for dll inside the folders?

You try that and tell me is works for you.

For distribuite using a intall tool can make the fix but

is we like to distribuite to the users a game without intallation process then with have a problem in the 64 bit system

  • Framerate issue: it's a known issue, but Awesomium need to fix it, we can't do anything about it. Please contact them about it - the more people who contact them, the higher they are likely to prioritise it.

Exit fullscreen: use the 'Cancel fullscreen' action.

felixsg - that sounds strange - could you post a separate bug report about it since it sounds unrelated to this thread?

  • Ashley

Thank you for the fast Answer.

I have tested the Cancel Fullscreen Action - but it will not work.

Working here on Vista (32Bit). I have also running it as an Administrator to - with the same result.

Can you help me anyway out?

    KMag

  • KMag - you're right, I made a mistake in the Awesomium exporter. I've fixed it for the next build, so Cancel Fullscreen should be working then.

  • Ashley

Okay, - Thanks again for the fast answer !!

    KMag

  • That is awesom(ium)

  • Should be working in r101 now.

  • Ashley

It is much better then in R100. But the FPS still to slow, specially when you Export your Project with the "Browser Fullscreen Request" in Stretch (Scale) Mode. The FPS slow's down to almost 30-34 FPS. In Chrome the FPS is up to 60 FPS.

When i use the default "centered", what i will not really do, then the

FPS is going up a little bit better - almost 40-50 FPS . But also still to slow.

I hope Awesomium can Fix this - and then all works fantastic.

    KMag

  • KMag - we're aware of this, but Awesomium need to fix it. From what I've heard, they're working on it.
