r104 Performance Increase !!!

Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

Is anybody else seeing a performance increase compared to r103.2? My current game at times would dip to 45-50 fps during certain actions and now it only hits 58-60 fps.

Actually, my game is responding a hair faster at the beginning (like literally 1/10th of a second, which is noticeable because of the precise timing necessary in my game), so perhaps I can say yes as well. But that's good stuff, I hope others are experiencing similar improvements!

Interesting - we did changelog some performance improvement in r104, but I thought it was minor. It would mostly affect deeply nested subevents and for-each loops. Are these things you use heavily?

@Ashley

What you described "deeply nested subevents and for-each loops" is why my game has better performance. All i can say is, THANK YOU!!!

I also noticed some increase - maybe about 10-15 procent on my slow test machine (Amd E-300).

Beside from that, I can now get all the things that was broken in the 0.103 branch to work again. Thank you for that change Ashley - that was a hugr deal for me :)
