I've had this problem before - send Ashley the sound file you're trying to import as well or even a cropped bit of it if you don't want to send the whole thing (make sure the cropped version doesn't work as well, though).

C2 appears to have a problem with some sounds for some reason. I tried getting around it by converting the sound I had from wav to various other formats and back with audacity, but the only one that worked was converting it to an mp3 then back to a wav.

That's a good point, your .wav files ought to be 16-bit PCM at a common frequency, otherwise the Ogg encoder might not be able to read it. Can you share the .wav file you imported?

I think this may be related to digital signatures, and I think it should be fixed in r106. Let me know how it goes when it's out.

@Ashley, in C2 r106 the problem still going.

I have tested manually to convert .ogg from D:\Program Files\Construct 2\tools\audio\oggenc2.exe

From command prompt says:
"This version of D:\Program Files\Construct 2\tools\audio\oggenc2.exe is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information and then contact the software publisher."

This is screenshot:

I'm using Windows 8 RTM (Enterprise Evaluation

Update:
I have try it to in C2 r103.2 Stable Version, the ogg tools works fine.
