R168 - 'Scroll To' not working in safari mobile browser.

Bugs will be moved here once resolved.

Post » Tue Jun 03, 2014 10:24 am

Problem Description
I have a large layout with a logo in the centre. The project is set to letterbox scale and the logo sprite has the 'Scroll to' behaviour.

As you can see from the following URL, http://www.thewyrm.co.uk, the layout is being centred everywhere except Safari mobile browser.

This is either an issue with letterbox scale or the scroll to behavior.

Attach a Capx
site.capx attached.

Description of Capx
Centres a layout on a sprite.

Steps to Reproduce Bug
[list]
[*] Open www.thewyrm.co.uk on a Safari browser.

Observed Result
On ipad2 landscape half the sprite appears on the right side of the screen.
On ipad2 portrait only the black background can be seen.
On iphone5s landscape only the black background can be seen.
On iphone5s portrait only the black background can be seen.

Expected Result
I expect to see the layout centred on the logo sprite.

Closing, it's not a bug, I think it's because your website uses a frameset (why?) and iOS has buggy support for frames. Unless you can reproduce this using the unmodified export from Construct 2, then we can't support any breaking alterations you make.

Its an EC2 server I have just setup. I wanted a quick test area so I forwarded a spare domain to it since that is created very quickly.

You're correct though the framset breaks it -> http://54.194.20.243/
