Problem Description
Browser request fullscreen causes a transparent border

Description of Capx
capx starts out non fullscreen

Steps to Reproduce Bug
  • Step 1 start cap
  • Step 2 press black sprite
  • Step 3 note fullsceen with transparent borders

Observed Result
note fullsceen with transparent borders

Expected Result
____ What do you expect to happen? ____
no fullsceen with transparent borders
Affected Browsers
  • Chrome: (YES/NO) yes
  • FireFox: (YES/NO) dunno
  • Internet Explorer: (YES/NO) dunno

I just get full screen with no borders - W8.1 and Chrome Version 43.0.2357.65 m :?: .

I haven't got chrome but tested in FF and NW and no transparent border.

Win 7 r205.2.
If your vision so exceeds your ability, then look to something closer.

Just tried this in a non maximised window, IE the button with the 2 squares at the top right, aka restore down, and it works correctly.
Maximised still gets the transparent border.

Can't reproduce here, works fine in Chrome and Firefox. I doubt there is anything we can do about this anyway since Construct 2 does not have any control over the browser window layout - it's the browser that decides what to do about "request fullscreen". Consider reporting it directly to the Chrome developers.
