    Construct 2 Check failure

    ---------------------------

    Check failure! This is probably a bug:

    Cannot find project file for animation frame

    Condition: FileExists(GetProjectPath().c_str())

    File: Projects\AnimationFrame.cpp

    Line: 188

    Function: void __cdecl AnimationFrame::Load(const class std::basic_string<wchar_t,struct std::char_traits<wchar_t>,class std::allocator<wchar_t> > &)

    Build: release 61 (64-bit) checked

    Component: Construct 2 IDE

    (Last Win32 error: 2)

    You are using a 'checked' release of Construct 2, intended for testing, which causes certain errors to be reported this way. Hit Ctrl+C to copy this messagebox - it's useful information for the developers, so please include it with any bug reports! Click 'Abort' to quit (unsaved data will be lost!),'Retry' to turn off messages for this session and continue, or 'Ignore' to continue normally.

  • I deleted the sprite that had the missing texture and project works again

  • Can you remember what you were doing before this error occurred?

  • Try Construct 3

  • Nothing out of the ordinary, I think I was trying to drag a cloned sprite into the layout(from the object window). By the way that seems buggy in general, sometimes it drags in, other times it doesn't, seems to depend on if something else is selected in the layout. I have to select the clone in the project window to deselect the other object in the layout, then it will work. That my be why, two objects are selected at once.

  • instability of the program has bothering me a bit lately.

    whenever i start a project, the program works fine, but as the project gets bigger the program becomes unstable.

    Below I am including pictures of the most common mistakes screen and the data from my computer.

    if you need to analyze any file just ask.

    Again thank you Ashley.

    You should really start your own thread for this, but I think you may have the same problem as chrisbrobs had in this thread. Your error messages look the same, so the resolution may also be the same.

  • Yes, for it posted in her post .. :D

    is here? lol

    Thanks.

  • Without access to a .capx showing these errors, there is little that Ashley and the rest of us can do but make guesses, unfortunately.
