...and by celebrity, I mean that one of the Destructoid writers finally discovered your 2.5d Zelda game.

Sooo... okay. Maybe "celebrity" isn't quite the word.

It's still cool to see a Scirra member get mentioned on a site as well-known as Destructoid. Can we hope that you will release a new demo sometime in the future?

Hey nice one! :D

I thought this was indeed very col myself... I'm an avid LoZ fan. I can still finish the first quest in under 4 hours, incuding all secret areas... I can even get the white sword before stepping foot inside the first dungeon xD

If Radix manages to recreate the whole thing, I'll be playing right through it that's for sure :D

Better make sure all the secret areas are there too!

remaking the entire game would be a mighty task, I suppose he'll finish the first dungeon at least. It's a nice recreation of the classic, I must admit.

once you've got the engine in place it shouldn't be too much work making the whole game.

of course it would. What about those scrolling maze parts? what about all the items? The overworld is massive, and having all those 3d boxes would probably crash the runtime, so you would have to split the overworld into many seperate layouts. It's still a ton of work to program everything in.

Kinda weird how none of the linked sites mention Construct at all... you would think they would mention what it was made with.

I think one of them mentioned a little bit about the engine (maybe not by name), but I don't remember which.

Davioware: from the testing I've done I don't foresee much of a problem.
Apart from the practical problem of whether I'll copy it precisely, making the whole thing flat, or make the cliffs actually vertical and have ladders you can climb. Which would be neat but I'm not sure if I could make it fit together.
