I'm going to go ahead and assume that this is not good.

Thanks, will look into it. It's not as scary as it looks, it's just the server trying to protect itself from funny looking URL's.

When submitting a tutorial, the "Heading 2" formatting option doesn't seem to work, at least in the preview. Also, do you think we should have some general guidelines to tutorials? I.e. some sort of rating system (Easy, Medium, Advanced), and the ability to sort it by views or rating would be good.

Edit: and the search tutorial function doesn't seem to work.cow_trix2011-06-29 01:45:34

@cow_trix, tag your tutorial 'beginner', 'intermediate' or 'advanced' for each skill level.

just an idea: make a tutorial about how to write a good tutorial, with good practices and etc, and lock it at the top if possible.

What would happen to the older CC tutorials?

Earlier they were listed on the wiki, but now since the wiki link is missing and it's unlikely that new users will hunt through the forums for tutorials.
Would there be any way to filter out the default Gravatar avatar?  So we don't see this on the forum:
Actually they have a few options:

    * 404: do not load any image if none is associated with the email hash, instead return an HTTP 404 (File Not Found) response
    * mm: (mystery-man) a simple, cartoon-style silhouetted outline of a person (does not vary by email hash)
    * identicon: a geometric pattern based on an email hash
    * monsterid: a generated 'monster' with different colors, faces, etc
    * wavatar: generated faces with differing features and backgrounds
    * retro: awesome generated, 8-bit arcade-style pixelated faces

I vote retro. However, I'm not sure, but for some of those the image might have to be generated here at Scirra using GD lib. Which means the image would also be hosted here at the site, and use up some bandwidth.
