I'm not sure why recoil would be a factor in a top down shooter..

I need to make:
- player bouncing off on collision with monster
- recoil on shooting
- enemy bouncing off on collision with bullet.

Bouncing off collision can be done with the physics behaviour or possibly just a simple 'when object collides with' logic. I still don't know what you mean by 'recoil on shooting'. If you're referring to kickback experienced when spraying a gun how is this relevant to a top-down shooter?

Yea I mean that kickback. And how is this revelant? It's just a game. I want to make small kickback during firing.

I just imagine recoil as a kickback on the Z axis which seems unneeded for this type of game. If you want to create an effect of the player taking a step back due to recoil then I guess alter the location slightly after they fire
