  • Hi, I'm registering my completed game with the US copyright office. After some research, I decided to register as an audiovisual work and recorded my screen as I played through the game. I just heard back from the office, and they are saying that since it's a computer game, in addition to the audiovisual recording, they would like the first 25 and last 25 pages of code. I am leaning towards using the XML code. Is this appropriate? Other options would be the javascript, or even screenshots of the event sheets in Construct2. Could I consider the XML code as my original work, or is that infringing on the Construct2 developers? This could be a question for Ashley, or others that may have come across this already.
