Remove default Windows sound

For questions about using Classic.

Post » Sun Sep 16, 2012 10:27 am

Hi,

How can I disable the default Windows sound of a text box ?
I mean, in the form when the player can write text ?
Because if he press "Enter" on a none-multiline text box, there will be a sound, the default Windows sound.

How to remove it ?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers.

There's no easy-out way of doing this. This issue has been solved with Input system in a project of mine, because I used to use EditBox in a way that didn't require it to be visible it was possible to replace it with the Input system.

You might also want to look into GWEN, which greatly expands UI capabilities by introducing a plethora of widgets, and it's only 5usd.

I mean, set text to what the player press on his keybord ?

Cheers.
