Repeat event loops infinitely

Problem Description
Repeat event does not loop the set number of times, it repeats infinitely.

Description of Capx
Repeat event is called to repeat 4 times and alert 'run' each time

Steps to Reproduce Bug
  • Click run layout after opening capx

Observed Result
'run' is alerted infinitley.

Expected Result
'run' would alert four times.

Affected Browsers
  • Chrome: YES
  • FireFox: YES
  • Internet Explorer: YES

Operating System and Service Pack
Windows 8.1 (no service pack), also tested on Windows 7, SP1 with same result.

Events run every tick, until you tell them not to.
What you want to happen should be associated with a trigger, on touched, on clicked etc.
You should do some basics tutorials, and I would really recommend staying away from execute javascript at least till you have a firm grasp on everything else.

Not a bug.

So add the loop as a sub event under a trigger? Also the execute JavaScript was just used as a test event that could easily be seen.

Yes, even a variable comparison will work, provided the variable is changed in the same event.
