Request: Fixed Resolution rendering for performanc

Actually I meant hundreds of man-hours on my part :P If I go all out developing something in C2 in the hopes of getting this feature down the road only to discover a year later that upscaled low-res renders (or something equally effective) will never happen for whatever reason then I'll be very unhappy. But hey, if it's too much work for Scirra to implement then sure, I understand. They have limited resources. I'd just like to know what's what so I can plan better.

I would like to keep this thread alive, because Im using a game on laptop in fullscreen, it runs poor and choppy performance until I resize the window and the game runs 60 fps

Yep, it's working great in r153. Pegged at 60fps on every desktop I've tried it on, including some older machines that would only reach around 45fps when full-screen with previous versions. Words alone can't express how happy I am that this is implemented.

I'm so grateful for this low res scaling feature!
I'm making a native 1280x720 game quite heavy on GPU, and now it runs so well even on old machines.

I now have two profiles linked to global vars:
1 - 1280x720 scaled to supercrisp full HD
2- and the "low res" profile including the new scaling method + a full screen sharpen (20%) shader activated only for this mode.
Even on a full HD monitor, the result is not that blurry!

That's wonderful.
