[request] Gamepad vibration plugin [includes link to script]

Post your work in progress addons and get feedback

Post » Wed Jul 12, 2017 5:55 pm

Hi,

Since it seams that gamepad is still doesn't have vibration option, I'd ask if someone could create an addon to official plugin that would do that. Obviously, it won't work with all exporters, but if it could work at least with nwjs that would be ace. There is https://github.com/andrew/node-xbox-controller . Maybe you @rexrainbow could help since you're plugin wizz?

Cheers

We definitely need force feedback support. Everything that supports gamepads should have one

Hey, no problem.

@RadioMars Exactly. Even solution like this would help.

Sure! I would even say it's all we really need for gamepad. Browser object provides vibration on mobile, so the remaining option is to make a support for nwjs. Maybe we can pay someone

@megatronx

I don't think that's possible with the sources from your link. These depends on node.js, because of that it's not possible to import the scripts as javascrpt-files in Construct2. To make it more difficult there are dependencies to binary-files, otherwise it would maybe possible to make one javascript-file without dependencies from node.js.
