Room size and hp

For questions about using Classic.

I can't figure out how to change the size of rooms or create damage or hp of objects. The damage and hp I would guess would have something to do with private variables (or attributes, can't remember) but I couldn't figure anything out. Plus, once I made hp or damage, how would I apply them with events?

By change the size of rooms, do you mean the size of a layout? I'll work on a capx file explaining it, shouldn't be too hard to use the HP in events.

Yeah, I mean the layout. About that, um, I have a cap that has a layout size that's different than default, but I still can't find where I can alter it. Can you tell me here?

In the Project bar on the right of your screen you'll see "Layout 1" or similar, and you can click that to bring its properties up in the "Properties" bar on the left for you to edit. You then edit its width and height as-needed.

Found it. That zip is great too. Thanks!

I feel like I got really lucky. I've been here all of 3 days and things are already moving along well.
