Rotate towards an object! [Solved]

For questions about using Classic.

Post » Fri Jun 25, 2010 4:12 am

I'm really stuck again. I have a character. I want to make him rotate to some objet on which I clicked.... BUT when I set angle toward some static object, the char just falls :cry:Rotation doesn't work too - because char is sometimes in diferent directions from an object! :?

Is the character facing towards the right in the actual unrotated image?

That might work in some cases, but you really should be picking sprite 2 somewhere in the condition.

newt Everething works OKey, exept that image rotates a bit weird... See here:

I want the sprite of player to "stay" and not to fall like that after a click on fire :o

Well in my opinion you really don't need more than two angles in this case.
I'm a big believer in having new users figure things out for themselves, but I will give you a hint.
Your character's angle will be either 0, or 180 degrees, and the fire's x value will either be more or less than your character's x value.
