RPG Idea Help

Guys. I need ideas on a very very simple RPG game. a simple rpg game that can be made within half a week. ANY IDEAS?

Hi Ken95! What about some hero that has lost his sword and is looking for it before he has to go on a very great quest?

How about a story about a student that must make an rpg in a half week?

Ken95 used Consruct 2.... its super effective.

Ken95 I have a cliche idea but might work. A kid that watched his family being killed and grew up later and trained hard to avenge his family, met a guy in a few chapters and

explained that their family were killed because of possession of great power which is "him" and his family successfully saved him. The "guy" he met trained him to fight and to find a man to kill and obtain information regarding the killer but later on he discovered that the "guy" who trained him was the one who killed his family for power and now they clash using their own powers equal powers.

Plot twist: The "guy" (who trained him) also has power and it is equal to the kid's family(clan) but since ancient time, no one ever settled who is stronger until that day they(enemy) had an inside man to collect information regarding the kid's family. Also, the "guy" wanted the other clans powers, so that he can combine it with his own to rule the world.

Now that I think about it. It isn't cliche anymore.

You can make this in a week if you work 12 hrs a day.

I once played a little game where the hero stepped out from his house looking for adventure, he finds some bad guy and starts fighting, when defeated it evolves, other heroes passing by join the fight and merchants also passing by sell weapons and upgrades. At the end it was the demon lord that went in a costume to buy cigarrets. The hero steps in in his house. I can't find the link to the game, but you get the idea. Is it for school?

Actually I am a 1st year college student but it didn't stop me. At night I create games and at the same time I study. And you really need to extend your deadline.

How can i make a prologue story at construct 2???

Ken95 - There are actually many ways and before I answer, tell me first the kind of prologue you want? Graphical, Video, Voice or Text or In-Game?

Graphical - You use picture transitions to tell an opening story.

Text: Making a dialog system to tell a story.

Video: Making a video first, then import to Construct 2. This requires more effort.

Voice: Focuses on voice story telling.

and

In-game: Having a layout as a Prologue scene. Where you simulate the character or an environment to play a story or event.

What about a kid who accidentally activates a machine, making him dream unusual things, and if he gets hurt in his dream, it's connected to reality, and to get back to rrality, ypu have to collect items by defrating bosses, and when you have then all you go back to reality. I always thought this idea would be fun because you cab do funny and weird things that don't make sense because he's dreaming.
