    SBTB:The Eraser

edit:Hi, the new chapter(winter kisses) of "Saved by the balls: The eraser" is now online, with new game mechanics, including super jumps, and portals. The 2nd chapter is already open.

For those who want to follow and play this game please do it at my site, i won't upload to Scrirra Arcade because i have to make several changes to behaviours and plugins, to fit Arcade requirements, and judging for the place of the game in the Arcade top, i don't think it worth the effort.

Any comments about this chapter will be appreciated!

    Tks.

    EDIT:30-08-2012:

Hi, my game Saved by the Balls, the eraser is now finished, with 3 chapters and 100 levels.I did some changes in several levels to improve the gameplay mechanics, and i made a small trailer as well, don?t forget to see it in HD

  • VERY fun. How many level are there?

  • Thanks,40 levels(chapter1), i will add 2 more chapters with 40 each chapter, and new gameplay mechanics.

  • i liked the game but i don't know why i feel like cut the rope maybe because you using same music , and mouse icon.

the game is really good and i tried to find something missing to say but i couldn't i liked everything except the graphic i don't know why XD maybe because they just squares why make at least a square wood as they in jungle :P also will be the 2nd chapter something different?? like kiss 2 girls (baah not for kids) or get rose then kiss or something like that XD or maybe kill the girl hehe -evil- anyway keep the good work...

just a question why don't you put it in arcade? because i need to play in it later i'm busy right now and maybe ill lose this link ^^?

  • Good job :) Addicting game. I only wanted to see what is this, but found myself playing through a lot levels.. Need to get back to work..

  • zsangerous thanks for the comments, the music is not from cut the rope, it?s mine, i am a music composer), and yes the mouse icon is very similar i have to replace that icon!

The platforms graphics are just squares (with rough edges) because this way i can use a single sprite to make a entire game, because i can stretch and squeeze without loose quality in the sprite and if i had texture and patterns i would have to use a different sprite for different widhts and lenghts, and with more 3 chapters, the game would became huge for the web.But it?s something i have to think about.

In the next chaperts i have new mechanics and a story twist in the game(for now there is no story at all)

To upload to Arcade i have to scale it to 800pix, maybe in a couple of days.

Thanks i appreciate a lot your comments.

I played trough the first 10 (about) levels nearly without any effort. I'm not sure how hard can the last 30 levels be.

  • Went through all 40 levels, definately a lot less frustrating than the original version of SBTB. The difficulty seemed to fluxuate, but overall it wasn't too bad. Level 33 had my head scratching for a few minutes though :P

I like the little animated touches that you put in such as birds fly, sun shining etc. ...Having unique backgrounds for each level also help add that sense of polish to the game.

Looking forward to seeing what new game mechanics you'll be adding in the future :)

Hi, your comments are always welcome and appreciated!I'm struggling to not increase the difficulty to much, i have alot of complex ideas for the gameplay, but i want to keep it simple.By the way, the game in my site is a little more polished, because i had to delete some plugins and behaviours to upload to Arcade, and the resolution is higher.

  • I really enjoyed this game. good job

  • Nice Pic and Machanisms, good job!!!Try posting to somewhere else

  • Thank you both, i'll try to post the game to other portals when chapter 2 is finished.
