Scirra needs to stop boycotting Steam

Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

Post » Tue Aug 11, 2015 9:54 pm

Hey!

Its quite sad to see how Scirra is boycotting Steam, as a platoform were you can buy construct 2, you cannot upgrade from personal > buissinies licens, you cant read patch notes, and not even a game displaying imagine (quite irrevelant)

However, this should be taking into consideration, since it afterall is a quite huge platform, were you could sell extra many copies of your product at...so make those things possible for current users to experience.

kind regards, Semi

You can read new version release notes on our website, and the editor will even prompt you to read them. I'm not sure what "not even a game displaying imagine" means. The business license upgrade issue is something we currently handle manually since Steam users rarely ask for it and we'd need various Steam store changes to implement an upgrade path (and Valve don't always answer our emails...)
