Setting the strength of a physics joint

Hi everyone.

Firstly, I'm a newbie here on the Scirra forums, so apologies if this topic has already been raised.

I'm wondering if it's possible to set the strength of a physics joint. I'd like to be able to build a rigid structure, where the structural elements have a strength based on the material (eg. metal vs wood), which is easy enough to do with a health counter. But I'd also like the joints to have a strength so that they'll break if exposed to a certain amount of force.

Any idea if this is possible, or does anyone know any programming tricks that could simulate this?
