Single frame's duration for sprites

New releases and general discussions.

Hi Scirra people!

On elaborate animations not all the frames are visible for exactly the same time.

For istance:

the frame where the kick is fully streched lasts little longer than other intermediate frames. That gives a sense of realism on the animation.

It would be a good add the possibility to specify not only the overall sprite's animation speed, but also the single frame duration.

That is supported already, I believe. Select the sprite, open Animator tab, select the animation, then below that is where you add frames and stuff.

There, choose a frame. You should notice "Frame speed" in properties to the left. The bigger number, the longer it plays.

Yes it is already supported.
I use it often (much better than having to duplicate frames just to make them last longer)

(check last part on bottom of page for more info)
