slow spawn speed

Ok I think I have a good question for you guys. Im working on a platform project...you know, practicing what i've learned so far, and my player object shoots bullets when left click is held down. The only problem with this is that he shoots a ridiculous amount of bullets super fast. Is there a way to slow down the rate my player spawns the bullets when left click is held down?

Mouse is down is essentially the same as always. You need to add a condition to that to slow it down.
Every x milliseconds is probably the quickest way.

mouse is down
every 1000 milliseconds
>do this

I dont see any conditions that allow me to put "every 1000 milliseconds". Im confused. can you please explain to me how to go about setting up that condition?

Add a new condition, look in system object, there is a whole list of conditions.
