Snap To Grid

Get help using Construct 2

I'm polishing off my current game and i finally got my objects to snap to the grid for a more professional look. My only problem is one of my objects is snapping oddly. I have my blocks snapping correctly but when i imported spikes they have a weird invisible padding under it so they won't sit nicely on top of my blocks.

I made the spike in Photoshop with the same height and width. I was on a role until this happened lol. Any suggestions?

Be carefull only the origin point snaps to the grid
If the origin point of your sprite is in the middle it will snap by the middle
I often put the origin point at top-left for snapping

yeah and you may think you have it exactly where you want it but when you zoom in really close its a position or so off the exact spot you want that will cause it to not LOOK like its snappin right

the origin is really ALL that matters. The size of the sprite is really just extension in any direction from the origin
