Whenever possible, I recommend people should just work their way through some of the old example files. I just found this from David in 2009 which is quite frankly stunning.

That's just one of the many stunning examples, what sin and cos are good for, and why people should use events more often instead of restricting themselves to the use of behaviors :)

I agree wholeheartedly :)

That particular example isn't impressive because of the way it looks (which is still stunning) but in the simplistic code needed to create the effect.
