soccer game

Get help using Construct 2

I'm creating a soccer game and individualy the player (platform behaviour) and the ball (physics) act normal but together they move strange and not as intended. How can I get this to work?

Have you tried pinning behavior for the ball?

Sorry but I don't see how this can help. The behavour of the ball should be completely seperate from that of the player.
The problem here is that both objects (player and ball) can't be in the same room without acting strange (there's nothing programmed of any interaction yet, I just created a player (platform behavour) and a ball (physics). can't those behavours be in the same room without acting strange and influencing each other without intended to?

You shouldn't really use platform and physics together. They don't work well together (as you can see).

Do your own platform behavior using the physics behavior.
