[Solved] Holding Down Jump Key Make the Jump go For Longer?

Get help using Construct 2

Hello,
I would like to know how I can make a jump go for longer if the jump key, in my case the space bar, is held down and on release, it drops the character back. This is for my game that is in unfinished game on Scirra Arcade. Please explain this thoroughly as this is my first game I have ever made on construct. Thanks in advance :D

UPDTAE: Changing the Player.Platform.VectorY to Player.Platform.VectorX and having a /negative number worked for me so thank you very much for you help this has worked great.

OLD: Thanks for that but in my particular game, it doesn't seem to work :cry:
