[Solved] Isometric Z Order

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Sun Dec 30, 2012 8:23 am

I've seen a few old threads but no really basic or elegant solutions to Z-ordering in isometric games, so I figured I'd post what I came up with. Pardon if this is old news.

Anyways, here's your event right here:

Works great as long as origin points are consistent (bottom, ideally).

Nice one thanks Mike! I couldn't find a decent simple example that worked consistently, but this does the job

Thx for this tutorial. Now i can create isometric games. I think, now i have only visual problems, everything is so limited in 2D.

@Juicy
It sorts the order the sprites are drawn so the ones higher on the screen are behind the ones lower.
