[SOLVED] Keep UI in one spot

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Thu Dec 22, 2011 6:18 pm

Sorry in advance I'm more than sure someone has asked this before or its covered in a document somewhere but my search efforts are coming up dry.

How would one keep UI elements such as score and life in their places when the game is scrolling the view around. I can see it done in the space shooter demo but cant quite get the same result. Also had a look in the ghost shooter example and tried to anchor it with no luck.

I wont upload the capx yet as it doesn't really seem like an issue related to that, just unsure as to how to tackle this. Cheers!Hollowminds2011-12-22 18:34:06

Add a new layer and place your UI elements on it. Set the Parallax property to 0,0.
