[Solved]Does The Overlap suppose to work on scaled Layers?

Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

Post » Sat Sep 30, 2017 5:37 am

Hi

I'm having trouble with the overlapping doesn't work properly on scaled layers I'm just checking if this is normal or I'm doing something wrong I tried all the possible ways but is not working, the objects are in the same Layer.

you will notice that once the game starts the overlap event is running the actions without overlapping

Note sure if something got lost in your sample CAPX. Overlap is based on the collision polygon, which is a square at the moment, Sprites 0 & 2 (by UID) do overlap. Deleting the layout scale doesn't make a difference in this case.
You can select all of the sprites in the editor to see the overlap.

Good Morning.
You are working with a single Sprite, so the system is not working properly, try working with two Sprites.

Or you can try to duplicate the overlapping condition and invert it by indicating the action of the Sprite set to frame (0);
